I find it hard to believe that a smart business person would walk away from $450,000 profit in 3 months work whether they were gonna get a BRP franchise or not. That's good coin.

Well regardless, of profit on new units. Some of these dealers have been lacking quality customer service. If the service is the money maker, some effort to please your customers might keep the doors open. I’ve walked through these dealers many times with out anyone even lifting their head to acknowledge a customer.
Common parts always need to be ordered? And multiple week wait times for a service appointment is unacceptable.

sounds a lot like some embellishments happening somewhere.
Ill go against ya that one, typically low profit margins on units, also not un common to pay intrest on units after a year really hacks up your profit, some manufacters do they buy more better deal program (lower intrest rate, better dealer cost) which is hard on the smaller dealers. Shop, parts and accessories are the money maker, but In todays market even with that some very established dealers are having a hard time. Also as you mentioned the overhead, just think of what a large dealers 509, Snowpulse and KLIM or Motorfist booking order is worth, a BRP fall 850 belt order! or their spring ATV Tire order. Even with their cost at 25-40% less then you pay over the counter.
Wheres ARFF with a sales pitch and numbers from BOS?
That's gross, but that was the first 3 months open, and first month was still 70% or less set up stuff still not nonewas that gross or net? after all expenses paid?
sell $450000.00 of product and service at a cost of $300k, leaves you 50k a month to pay staff, pay the mortgage, power.
we also deal with some high and low season here no different then sica would.
Rich kid hissy fit, is what I chock it up too, heard it happened before at a baja race a few years back too, may or may not be the case, dunnoI find it hard to believe that a smart business person would walk away from $450,000 profit in 3 months work whether they were gonna get a BRP franchise or not. Oh here we go, Larry your not the guy at all to say ya or nay about a business, sorry to sayno idea, any business doing only repairs and parts etc, with no sales, doing a half mill gros in three months , and being unable to continue, was being run and staffed by morons! as far as i'm concerned.
i can only assume there is more to the story, as in lots of bs coming from someone,

Seen the sales before the close out sale startedlol, { I can tell ya that in 3 months mountain park made 450000.00 before the fire sale started, for a brand new business just started in that business, thats un heard of ( in a good way with good profit)} and it still couldn't make a go of it? as i said more to the story, you got any back up on this $450,000 in less than 3 months? ha.
The only dealer with the word "Bow" in it I would ever do business with is BowRidge.
Those other guys lost me as a customer a few Doo's ago. I won't even buy a jug of oil from them. I am never happy to see employees suffer because of bad management/ownership and I hope them focusing on one smaller location can improve their business but quite honestly I would rather drive the 160 km round trip to get anything OEM I need from Bowridge than the 30km to the South store.
Its a different owner, but to each their own. Glad you enjoy driving.
Picked up the new low profile seat from Bow South this morning. Great bunch of guys.
