If it weren't for the heroics of King Henrik the Bruins would have blown the Rangers out of this game. They were relentless on the puck and pressured the Rangers d all night and kept Henrik pretty busy. If he was going to steal a game for his team, it would have been last night. It would take a 4 game sweep for the Rangers to win this series and with that anemic pp, I don't see that happening though they might get lucky and win the 2nd one at home.

In the meantime, I'm pulling for the Senators to wear down the Penguins or maybe even win that series. Bruins are on a mission and are playing some of their best hockey right now.

I sort of agree with you. They still haven't got the overall form they had when they won the Cup. Some of those guys have to dig a little deeper. Marchand has another level unseen this trip. Jagr isn't at the top of what he can doo (yes, he is a little long in the tooth but there is still more to give IMHO), Sequin is struggling, and the fourth line is pretty much carrying them so far.

It's not only the 4th line, Krecji's line is playing well and Bergy and Marchand have a killer instinct about them. I would love to see Jagr and Seguin start lighting the lamp as they are both working hard at it. I think the Bruins are starting to hit their stride and it's coming at the perfect time. Is there any team in the NHL that has 4 solid lines like the Bruins? And those young guys on the backend, they are fearless and fast, something Bruins fans haven't seen in a long time, if ever.

CJ is going to be in a pickle when Seids, Redden and Ferrence are healthy, who does he scratch? I think he should leave it the way it is for now or maybe put Seids in for Hamilton but let Krug and Bartkowski keep playing.

On to round 3 against the Penguins. This should be a good series, pitting one of the best defenses against one of the best offenses in the NHL. JC is going to have some tough decisions to make once Ferrence and Redden are back and healthy. If it were me, I would sit Bartkowski and Redden and bring in Ferrence and keep Krug on the ice. Glad Seids is back and everyone is getting healthy for the stretch run for the cup. Hard to make a prediction on this one but since i'm a Bruins fan i'll pick the B's in 6 or 7.

Pitts in 6, Vokoun is on his game once again, tough to shut down so many viable scoring machines

I am going to say Pittsburg in 7. It will be a tough series and Boston could win game 7, so it will be won by one goal.

It would be great to see Iggie win a cup! He would be like a kid in a candy store with no limits.

There aren't too many people giving Boston a shot at winning this series and as I remember not that long ago, they were saying the same thing when Boston faced Vancouver in the finals back in 2011. That didn't turn out quite the way a lot of people had hoped, except for me of course. The B's can roll 4 solid lines, have an excellent goaltender, 6 topnotch defenseman with 3 quality backups waiting in the wings. I like their chances better now than I did back in 2011 though with all this rest, there's no telling how either team is going to play in game 1.

The Bruins have found their game again and can beat any team still left in the playoffs.

They can, but I still say Pittsburg in 7!

I agree with Doug , they could do it but I don't think they are going to be able to shut down all 4 lines, Pitts is too deep

Please NOT LA. They suck to watch. I hate Sutter's brand of defensive hockey. I watch hockey to be entertained, not put to sleep.

Does anyone else cringe whenever Sutter gives an interview? He's about as exciting as a piece of dry white toast with no butter...........lol.

If I had to answer that many stupid questions that often, I would probably be like that also. I couldn't be as blatant and rustic as Torterella but those interviews all suck because of the dumb questions those dick heads ask.

Thats the idea....put the other team to sleep. The days of Gretzky's Oilers runnin' and gunnin 'are over.
