Here is a vid of the new Boost-it Turbo Wildcat Sport.
We want to thank Pro Am Motorsports Calgary for working with us on this project.

Silly question maybe, but does anyone know how well turbos hold up in mud and water?

I was thinking that heat might cone into play. ...maybe not for a quick run in a mud pit but over the course of a 100km ride with scattered mud and skeg.

It might be a little tough to clean if the 1200*F housing is spattered with mud over a weekend, but some sort of shielding would certainly help. Caked on mud would actually help, though. The more the heat buildup the more responsive the turbo will be.

A little more info on the kit, and test day...the other side by side in the video was a stock wildcat 1000 X limited that got smoked in the drag race. Pretty sure we had a good 10 lengths on it. Ran 5lbs boost on pump gas. Garrett Turbo with a water to air intercooler. Super clean, factory look install. Ran flawless all day. Throttle response was insane and yes this kitty is very FAST!! Another great job by Boost-It and a special thanks to Pro Am for supplying the test unit. Standby for pricing and when kits will be available

Interesting to see how that engine lasts under boost. That will tell you if it's good or not. Nice looking machine and looks like it rips.
