bogging out when throttle is maxed out

I have a 97 600 polaris the problem is when I push the throttle anywhere past 3/4s it bogs.If anyone has any trip or suggestion pls reply.

what color are the plugs? sounds like running to rich

What kind of Carbs are on it. I have a 97 700 Rmk with the same issues. Found there are 2 vents on eatch carb vented to the air box. The vent closest to mag side would come off and cause the exact bog your chasing. I have klien carbs. Shot in the dark but it may help and let me tell you this was a head scratcher for me. Now she is smooth all the way up and runs like a top.

Is this a triple by any chance?

your main jets could be too big or you have khein carbs which are not easy to tweak but it might be dumping too much fuel into it, and look over your primary clutch make sure everything is in good shape or you won't pull the proper rpms
