Boat Trips 2020

Im going to head to tuchodi again this summer, clearwater store again and the braz for a overnight camping trip. Not sure about the ram, keep saying I should quit that.

I would like to try the Clearwater. And going to the Braz earlier in the season so I can camp. Last two years we did it as the last trip of the year.
Got a trip to Churchill lake for monster pike in the middle of May. Then will do a B.C. trip mid summer.

Side note anyone go up stream from grand cache on the Smokey? Not sure if you’re allowed to go into Willmore park. Would love to go into there!

Yeh it’s a no go basically past the bridge . Sulfur gates is boundary just above the bridge.
Get caught and they take everything, truck , trailer , boat .

Sheep creek launch going up to bridge is nice and going down is okay as well .

Canfor bridge on Smokey going up is a nice trip when water is lower in small boat .
Higher water it’s a gas in bigger boat .

I figured you couldn’t go upstream. Looks nice there! Wanted to go in there as that’s the area my uncle was just killed in. Be nice to got in there and hike to where he was and put a plaque in memory. His buddies that belong to the trap line will have to do that.

Yeh you can’t even land a helicopter in Willmore. I tried to get permission years ago for some archeologist’s to snoop around and not happening .

Thanks! Been wanting to get up around there for a couple of years now. Might just have to make that happen!

I’m a couple years out and a different boat but I know a couple guys from nelson that river system is quite the tour. Looks like a hoot

Oh yes water is still down very low, Mara is still froze up. Sure melted a lot around town in the last two days though

First boat trip of 2020, actually it was a ferry. Across the Cook Straight, NZ.

Would say my summer runs the same as previous, red deer, north sask, brazeau, (blindman if we get the once every 3-5 rain event at about Hoadley)

Would really like to coordinate about 4-6 guys to build 15-16ft sport boats container them up for New Zealand and run them next winter. Old Outlaw guys used to do it sounded like awesome trips, leave the boats there for sale after done the trip.
