These are far the best inserts vs changing out boards!! Great guy to deal with as well! You don’t need to replace your boards with these as they add strength plus with the HC board it’s extremely strong!

The downside it adds 3/8” (9.525mm) .. some may find that noticeable.

Replacing boards is a thing of the past IMO ...

Ended up doing some Pin’d boards as the Cat boards are a decade or two behind lol, and went with the full length 165’ rail brace and thru bolt as the rear scissor rivets were loose and the bracket was wobbly (went thru one scissor last year). So far can’t believe I waited so long to pull the trigger on the boards, huge improvement. Rail brace is friggin solid and I have no doubt it’s the one to have on the alpha rail. Ordered direct and took a bit, had to pay duty.., but I know Specialty is carrying them this year..

Is Pin’d still the only ones in the game that make a decent insert?

300 bucks US for a set now plus shipping. Other than saving the labour, a guy may as well go full CR boards at that price.

Big difference from 10 years ago when there were probably a dozen shops to choose from that made inserts.

Ya that seems a lot more expensive than what they were charging last year, I should have grabbed some. Still beats the price of the CR boards as they are $850 shipped but they are full boards.

I have 2 sets of BDX Hardcore green boards left if anyone is looking. Would like to get them off the shelf. $400 per set.
