Soooo here is a Bedtime Sledding Story up Chappel.....

Reason Robin went to Chappel is Because Blue River You cant quite access the ALPINE YET ! .....

Chappel You CAN ! Soooo Robin Loaded Up and off they went to where He knows there is some STEEP & DEEP POW !

Robin and His Buddies were Blasting Breaking Trail...... along and wha La....there was Curtis from Valemount ....By this time Robins Buddies were getting Tired of Breaking Trail as they had already Broke a lot of the Trail in...... soooo....

Curtis the Young Buck that He is......Blasted the Trail up ahead,,,,,,Humm.....No Curtis coming back...Ok....He made ALL the way Up !...Lets GO !

Off they went and siit there was Curtis Stuck on the Trail !....Then WE were ALL Stuck.....Curtis Video it ALL......LOL

Robin and His Buddies had already Broke a lot of the Trail so They turned around and head Home .....Huffin & a Puffin AWESOME DAY !!

Robin is Not sure if Curtis Group made it to Alpine but He Thinks they would have made it !

ALL these Guys were creamin their Jeans I bet !......Ahhhhh ~~ PARADISE ~~

YAHOOOOOOOO IS Robins Favorite Word of the Evening.....LOL

Chappel Creek is Closer to Blue River than Valemount.....FYI....LOL

That is a Sweet Spot for DEEP SNOW !.....

There is No end to this Story as it has Only just BEGUN !!

Thanks for the pics patti - good 'night-cap' story.

I am in West Van for the weekend and it literally POUNDED rain all day here today and last night - till about 3pm today. Temp around 2C up top of West Van in British Properties. That means a DUMP for blue.
Weird weather out here. I saw hail, heard thunder (if you can believe that) and expierienced some sort of wind squal with gusts around 80km i'd guess for about 20 min then cleared right up and sunshine for late afternoon. Weird stuff...

Current Temp. is +0.6 C. Socked in and Snowing Lightly.....Hi-Ways could be NASTY !

We are SUPPOSED to be Receiving 10 - 20 Cms. Today / Tonight

Freezing Level about 3000 Feet

Blue River Elevation 2250 Feet

I know I haven't been Posting but It has ALL been the Same !

Ok....After 4 Different Snow Storms the Temp.s fluctuated from +1.8 to -5.0 ALL Day Up & Down ....Up & Down....

It is fairly Breezy Here with the Temp -5 and Falling.....

No New accumulation to Report on YET !

SOOOO......If anything Changes I will be Typing as FAST as I can.....I am Boring right now siit...

I expect ALL this to Change by morning.....

some people i know tried to get into fin creek on the weekend and it took them 2 days just to get into the alpine!! there was only two of them on friday and i think a couple more on sat!

Avalanche.ca has started reporting Avalanche Info. again for the 2011 / 2012 Season ! We need to Support Avalanche.ca as it is Crucial for Our Winter Sport !

Blue River is the North Columbia Area ....We are between the Cariboo Mountain Range & Monashee Mountain Range.....

When the First Snowflake Falls I will POST IT .....LOL
