Thanks for the great hospitality and accomidations Patty. Weekend was great, and im looking forward to my next trip back there. I brought a few new guys there this weekend and they had nothing but great things to say about the Holy Smoke Inn and definitly will be back...

Roads are VERY Busy and Icy !....SLOW DOWN....

Watch the Bridge Decks and dont let the Road Fool You !

It looks Dry but it could Very well be Black Ice !

Traffic is Heavy with ALL the Trucks also !!!

AVALANCHE is Rated CONSIDERABLE / Alpine / Treeline / Below Treeline

Bought Grocery's and then RAN back Home to Blue River !....Traffic HEAVY !

Ok...We are good now until March !....LOL

Ok....It is Crystal Clear and -12.2 C ~~ Calm ~~ Stars just a Shining !

They are calling for some Snow tomorrow...I HOPE SO !

The Hi-Ways are Fair - Good !......WATCH Bad Icy Road between Allen Creek & Climina sooo really watch through there !

YIKES the Jet Stream is WAAAY Up by Dawson Creek !....HOLY SMOKE !

They are saying that there is a Inversion going on up Top !

Soooo looks pretty good for X-Mas Travel !

Conditions are AWESOME !

Sun is just Shining Our Current Temp. in the Valley Bottom is -3.4 C Sunny / Cloudy more Sun than Cloud !

Roads are GOOD for Travel on Hi-Way # 5 Yellowhead from Edmonton to the Coke ( I dont know how to spell it ...LOL ) where it is FAIR Road Conditions

There is hardly any Snow from Barriere to Kamloops and on.....YIKES the Temps look like it will be +6 there for X-Mas ...HOLY SMOKE !

Ok...just look at Environment Canada and it says " 10 cms. Tonight & 10 cms. Saturday ! " ULAR You have answered Our Prayers !!

I will Post when the first Flake Falls.....

The Dude in the Red Suit is gone and .....ULAR HAS ARRIVED !!

YESSSSS It is DUMPING OUT right now !!

We received about 10 cms. over the last couple of days....

It has been SNOWING BIG Pancake Flakes since about 3pm.

The Hi-Way from Jasper to Blue River is NASTY ICY !

Current Temp. is -1.4C. Snowing Moderate to HEAVY !!

your probably SOL on places to stay... trying to find a place to stay in the mtns is hard enough to find, nevermind Blue where they treat your so well!!!!

Hope you have a furnace in your trailer. Might be pretty tough finding rooms in blue this time of year but you could check the old motel in town, I'm sure Blue jewel, Sandman and glacier would be booked.

I've been to Blue River once about 7 years ago. We stayed in Valemount and drove down for a day. Back then, I don't believe the town was set up for snowmobiling as much as they are now. I was wondering if they have a groomer for their areas, and is there a website similar to VARDA to get info on the sledding areas? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.

We are the same set up as 7 Years ago.....LOL

Just Nobody knew about Blue River ....it is " JEWEL Of the Yellowhead ! ".....the last secret spot with Champagne Powder & NO Crowds !

Well We still like to keep it sort of similar ....the Secret is OUT and We are now Saving this almost Extinct little Village !!

Yes there is a Groomer in Blue River.... No website like Varada....
