bikes vs quads

I have quads that are left over from work, I'd love dirtbikes but no one I know around me will go for a ride like the neighbours with quads, and I can't afford to buy one either, so I'll settle for 4 wheels and get my 2 wheel fix on the paved racetrack. What kind of riding you want to do, and with whom are probably your biggest deciding factors.
