Biker Betties???

Well i'm willing to travel but of course girls from certain local areas can always hook up for smaller planned rides, etc. White6 and I are entertaining the thought of trying to set up some kind of "meet n greet" with some ladies in the Edmonton area just to get to know eachother and plan some riding! Joining the up and coming SUDS night will be a potential opportunity to meet other fellow S&M members as well.

I think a bigger ladies ride is definitley an excellent idea, and i'm sure like the ladies sledding trip it will be a good way to meet other ladies in the sport and challenge ourselves, etc and just meet new fantastic people. I'm sure it would not be hard to coordinate a trip like this, its just a matter of picking a date and location which I'm sure everyone would have agreement on that it needs to be semi-central spot and obviously a really wicked riding spot. We will have to create some sort of list of potential areas. I definitely think a spot like Kananaskis (McLean Creek) would be a good area..good riding, in the mountains, camping.. but i'm sure there are lots of other suggestions out there too! So lets hear em..

We should know soon who/what/how we'll set this up and give ya'll a contact person. There will be two girls runnin' the show and keeping things organized. There will be a bit of paperwork from the producer and we'll get a list of riders/bios going. :d

Riders can start their own stuff whenever they choose but I would expect us to have our ducks in a row for this around the end of April, gotta focus on the sledbetties first.

By the looks of it now, this can be longer if it turns out that there's enough content. Originally thinking 10mins bonus feature...could be up to 20. That's ALOT of footy to make that length, but realistic especially when you include some candid vid and still shots. Like I preach to the sledder chicks...each clip requires approx. '8 seconds of awesomeness'...sounds short, but ask sledmamma...it's a long time LOL.

Haha well, unless im at a track hitting jumps I am limited to the amount of awesomeness I can get on footage but hill climbs, maybe a girl on girl race (haha) or anything else we can find on a trail i'm sure will still be awesome. I will likely submit the track pics/clips on my own. Either way i'm stoked and can't wait to hear what the final plan is!

yeah we made an entire dirtbiking video last year in Nordegg with a helmet cam.. was pretty cool, I would put it up but its pretty long.. and I dont knwo how to put vids up ..yet. lol Only footage I have of me thus far on my KTM. and it was right before my motor blew so unfortunately I didn't get much footage on the video Nordegg is tough on bikes

white no worries, as soon as you move to the Park and get settled..maybe by the end of April sometime we can arrange a ride.. my man is going to Vegas at the end of the month so i'm definitley going to need a riding partner ASAP!

Is this for dirt bikes only?? We r in northern alberta but Honda gurl and I are planning a trip south sometime this summer as well. We would love to check out the Jamboree as well but we will see! Either way I could try to get some clips of us out on the trails and in the skeg up here but it'll be of Quads???

Okay... so some exciting news for our quadder and biker chicks out there. RidersWest is doing a feature/cover article about girls and their machines. I am collaborating and need some photos. The article comes out at the end of April and there is a good chance we will get the cover shot. Need a few girls to get together in a good spot for at least one solid day of shooting... Volunteers and suggested locations please ?!?

Holy.. hmmm well I can only think of good areas around Edmonton that wouldn't be too sloppy and mucky this time of year.. I know its a photoshoot but perhaps there is a more central location to do this???? I can make a road trip Just need to know when and where!

Hey ladies... Skinnybitch hooked me up with this site. I've been ridin with her since I started which was about 7 years ago... I'm ridin an Outlaw 500 and now have no excuses not to ride!! I moved back to Leduc 2 years ago and knew no one who rode, so I am so excited to hear there are some ladies close who like to tear!! I've already told Skinny I would do everything I can to help out... Have any of you rode out by Drayton? For a day trip it covers alot of terrain, some gravel piles to play on, miles of trail, a couple little jumpin spots, a few spots to do some climbin, some awsome river trails that would be a beautiful spot for some pics... I dunno just a thought and it seems kinda central... only an hour or so outta E town... regardless I am in!! I'm looking forward to some rippin and gettin dirty and of course gettin to meet som awesome ladies!! Hells ya!!

Sounds pretty good to me, just wonder how muddy and sloppy it will be this time of year lol..but as long as their some spots for the bikes to play in i'm game.. and it really is just for "photos"..oh and JUMPS you say?? totally in!:d Never been there actually

nice to meet ya outlawkitten and no i have never been there but it sounds like an experience i certainly wanna have! works for me as the place to meet unless others have some ideas.

one concern on the date.. i know that it doesnt revolve around me n my sched but just gonna throw it out there that i cant ride the april 23/24/25 weekend.. hafta be home for my dads 50th birthday.. throwin a huge shaker
