BFG A/T KO2's or Cooper Discoverer A/T3's?

Do not run Toyo AT2 extremes on any gravel.
Very pricey and will not get over 20000 Kms if running any gravel.
Tears chunks out of tire.
Good tires other than though.

Got 90000km on mine so far and that is running with a deck and electrical tools with material in it. That is with a mix of gravel, hiway, and a good mix of hauling a heavy holiday and sled trailer too. They have about 15% life left in them. I would definitely buy them again.

Exactly how mine looked at 20,000km , just got a set of toyo open country mt and had them siped . Will see how they do .

I am running 275/55R20 Cooper Discoverer on my 1500 GMC.....paid $1100 last December......70,000 km on them now with lots of gravel in my travels. The fronts will make the winter (another 30-50km)...the backs are getting pretty skinny....I will need to replace once the snow flies.....but that's more my fault...lol...

I would definitely buy them again. Great traction, fairly quiet overall tire.

Toyo at2's are hit and miss.... Some good, a lot not. Coopers are gooders, and still liking the zeons, but haven't ran any myself yet. I sell a lot of tires and get to try lots of different tires on my vehicles, so it's always interesting to listen to different opinions about tires. Keep the comments coming.

Wow, my all seasons with 75,000 km on them are in better shape than those.
So I made a choice, I am going to get the BFG's, they are backordered, but the delivery date is next week. So I should have them on in ten days or so depending on scheduling.

Discovery At/3, I had the Zeon's previously and didn't like them. scary on ice, started to howl a bit I found once they started to wear, and so so in the snow. I much prefer the discoverys.

I have the KO2s and so far so good. The kicker will be once the snow flys. Hope I don't regret not buying Duratracs.

My vote is for the Coopers. In the past I had bf on a half ton Dodge they had about 15000km on them and they needed to be balanced to them in and 3 of the 4 were separating. My brother had the same issue on his Dakota. And on out welding trucks they would not hold up. Unless they have changed I would go with coopers.
My wife has the zeon tires and like said they suck in winter. They are wide and on a 22" time but pretty much undrivable

I run hakks in the winter but will be putting K02's on next spring. Look like an awesome tire and I liked the originals too. After running duratracs for almost 100k km they are too aggressive unless you run ~25% gravel IMO.

After installing many of these BFG A/T K02'S on fleet vehicles, think i will put them on my dodge 1500.... Snowflake designation and year round performance and about the only 8 ply tire in a 275/60r20 ....
I would love to run the general at2, but not avail in my size(they also have snowflake designation)

So the KO2's went on Wednesday afternoon. They are a little louder than my previous tires, which were the all season Good-Year HP's (I think), so I expected it. Not overly loud by my opinion, but not as quiet as the all seasons. Overall I am happy so far. I was disappointed in one thing, purely cosmetic, but they don't have raised white lettering in my size, which I prefer the look of. Not a big deal at all though.
