Alright here's a decent topic i think alot of people would benefit from. What get better traction a Bias or Radial?
the bias typically have more aggressive lugs, but at the same time radial get more contact with a larger footprint. I'm sure there are other factors but lets see what riders are actually saying and thinking when i comes to this topic. Throw down your thoughts whether you've been riding for 25 years or for 25 days. It might be interesting to see where this goes.

I've had both. I think the bias ones that I have now ride better than the radials they replaced.

Bias also balloon more than radial. Which gives the tire more size and I think clean better cause of ballooning.

i have actually just decided on getting 28" Zillas in the spring. It was between radial and bias at first but the folks at rapid revolutions in edmonton convinced me Zillas was the premiere tire on the market for mud/trail riding. for the price they are unbeatable and the weight is nice and low. i had to decide whether i wanted 27" x 10" wide front and 27" x 12" rear or the 28" which are a inch thinner all the way around i went with the narrow.
