I take it you are looking for a mountain set up and not flat land. Are you pulling big drops and hitting hard? If so, you want something that can take the abuse, go with coil springs. Do you want to save some pounds and don't mind tinkering with shocks, get something with Air shocks.

Holz $2500US one of the ones I have seen they work awesome

Timbersled $2000US last time I checked with rails, only seen a few, people who run it, love it!

Tom's Evolution set up, around $1400 US and you use your stock rails, lots of good feed back about it.

How about Racer's Edge, I think about $2200 CDN, built buy guys who ride the mountains we do! I see lots of guys running Baker's set up in BC.

Team Fast M-10 air, every once in awhile I see one and hear good things about it, not sure what it takes to fit it in a XP. Around $2200US.

Personally, I'll likely upgrade to Tom's set up for the price and it achieves what I want.

I run a Timbersled skid and Fox float 2 shocks up front on my XP. I love it it feels great in all sorts of conditions. I would for sure spend the money on it again.
If you do go with the Timbersled i would highly recommend upgrading your drop brackets (Baker makes nice ones). The change of suspension geometry seems to put alot more force on them than the stock set up. I broke both my stock drop brackets first day out with my new skid:(

Anyone running the Holz rear shock upgrade kit? I don't really want to spend 2 grand on a skid. Wondering how this setup would be?? Kit includes FOX Float front track shock and FOX Zero Pro rear track shock with custom valving and external compression adjust Piggyback reservoir.
Must retain stock torsion springs.
Saves 3 lbs.
