that`s why it`s called beautiful BC!!! Gorgeous pictures!!
It definitely is! These are from last summer - early August. If we had waited a couple of weeks we could have rode the quads to the top of Healy but had to walk up past the Wagner to see the glacier.
North of Kaslo BC/South of Revelstoke.
Follow link for Rady Creek, also same area.

This may help some.
Best way to get to Healy Creek from Alberta is;
1. Go west on Hwy #1 to just west of Revelstoke.
2. Turn south on Hwy 23 to Galena Bay ferry.
3. Turn east to Trout Lake and go to south end of the lake.
4. Approx. 3-4 mi. south of lakes end, watch for an old metal bridge on the left and turn there. If you're unsure if its the right turn off, watch for creek names along the main road, they’re all named. If you get to tenderfoot creek, you've gone to far south. Healy creek bridge is approx 1/2 mi north of tenderfoot crk.
5. Once you;ve crossed the bridge, there is an ok unloading area less than 1/2 mi up the road.
6. The ride to 'THE NOTCH' is approx. 16 mi. Once you get on the trail, don't take any trails to the left as they just go up to cut blocks of timber.
7. The 16 mi trip is senic and no problem for new riders and once at the top there are lots of challenging trails.
8. Trail is popular with dirtbikes, 4x4's, and atvs.
9. Take your camera - fantastic scenery - oh yeah, don't feed the Grizzlies.
10. Hope this helps.
