Couldnt really find a thread pertaining to longest lasting carbides for typical BC golden, revy, valemount riding. I seem to burn through them soooo fast. What do you recommend that still has carbide and lasts long? Stick td '15 ski. Thanks

Took carbides off, too much damage to garage floor and ramp/deck. Went through a pile of plain wear bars as I ride early til late in the season. Put hard weld bars on this year and like them so far. No damage and wear much better than plain round bar.

I run just normal wear bars and change them once a year for the price of them. And there really easy on the deck.

Carbides are for trail and lake sleds, not for mountain sleds. Leave them on if you like replacing s and e modules from tapping a boulder. The damage shop floors, trailers, sled decks. If you still want to run them, grinder them down so there is no sharp edges on them.

Another vote for the mild steel runners. Carbides are taken off at the dealer prior to delivery.

Rocks in the creeks are a royal pain in the arse not to mention like above, concrete floors, ramps, decks, paved driveway , etc.. 3000 km last year and got into the second set that will see me through the beginning of this season.

Another vote for plain steel, maybe not so good on ice on main trails, so drive in the ditch!
