belt tension mli super...nytro

Dose anyone know how tight to run the belt on a mli supercharger? new belts on with some wiggle room ( with thumb i can move it about 3/4 inch lash at cold) long side. seeing some of the blue coloring coming off the inter cogs, I'm i running this to tight?

MPI says to run them pretty tight. If you were to push on it with your index finger perpendicular to the belt you should only be able to move it 1/4" when pressing firmly.

If your cogs are rubbing you may have to go to a slightly larger pulley size. That's what I had to do on my Apex. My pulley belts last way longer now.
