Beeping Sound

2009 Yamaha RS Vector. Got the sled out today to ride. There is a faint beeping sound an can't figure out what it is. No warning lights are on. Anyone have any thoughts?

Sounds like the reverse beeper?

We were riding it and it was not in reverse. Wonder if it could be a malfunction then.

Probably have moisture in it. Unplug the beeper and see if the beeping disappears. If so, the plug probably is wet. Blow it out, and put some dialectic grease in it, plug back in. Or leave in unplugged.

do you have a tether strap? my rev was beeping like that aswell and the tether connection was not all the way connected but still running.

Unfortunately, Yamaha only has after market tethers, so its not hooked up to the computer like doo. The only thing that beeps on a yamaha is the reverse alarm.

It was the reverse beeper on mine. Can unplug and replug to fix, 2009 Vector
