You should also have a provincial trail pass. These clubs use the fund to maintain and improve the trails. The clubs in this area are Caroline and Olds club. Maybe someone here will post where passes are avaiable or you can call the ASA office in Edmonton at 780-427-2695 and they will hook you up with your passes. Just mention the club you would like to support and they will give that club their portion. Easy as that. Now you can ride anywhere in the province with this pass. Areas such as Crowsnest Pass,Olds,Caroline, Red Deer even the Snowmobile Capital of Alberta, Whitecourt and the Golden Triangle just to mention a few of the clubs in Alberta.
Now make that call Monday and get riding. Support the sport you enjoy. Don`t be a trail freeloader. Just saying!!

Okay Highfly listen up!! I have sledded this area for years and have been involved with the Olds Snowmobile Club for about as long. There is a great staging area west of the Bearberry Salon about two miles, just keep going west from the salon do not follow the hi-way when it turns north keep going west young man. You will come to a t intersection and the staging area is right there located to your left. The gate may still be locked but once the snow levels are deeper the gate will be open. We just ask that when you are leaving is to close the gates. There is a very nice warmup shelter and there are outdoor toliets available. When the snow levels are deep you can't beat the area for its varied riding terrain. As Sledder Glen said purchase the provincial trail pass through the ASA, you can purchase one at Central Cycle in Olds across from Olds College on hi-way 2A or buy on-line through the ASA web site and ask them to dedicate the club portion to Olds Snowmobile Club.

There may be maps available in the warmup shelter. The club is working on a new map with weigh points. You can also purchase your ASA pass online through their web site, if you do that note that the club you are buying the pass through is Olds, that way we receive a portion of the pass funds. Just a little shameless self promoting!!!!!

What exactly do you mean by the above statement? Because of all the years I have used this area I have not encountered any problems with the landowners by the forestry area.

Stop into Champion Motorsports in Olds and they have Olds Snowmobiling memberships (ALBERTA) and maps for the area west of Beerberry.

I also found out on the east side of the river he was to undoo what he did bit like the county for fish and feather care.

If u read it was west of bearberry , at the bridge where the pavement ends.

It's the first place to camp because its all owned land ect before.

Im guessing not much very seldom is the snow good in that area might as well drive a little farther to BC. Best shot in this area seems to be late in the year last 3 winters have been unrideable until feb or march.
