Beacon checkers and training park.

Just thought i'd let everyone know that the Mcbride snowmobile club will have BCA beacon checkers at all of the new trail pass collector shacks this season. The other thing that is really cool is once we have abit more snow down low we will also be setting up the new BCA beacon training park that our club has. The beacon traing park is a great tool where there will be mulitple transmitters buried and there is a main box that controls what ones are on. So a person will be able to pratice using there beacons and then probing to find unit itself(just dont want them bug up). The club will be holding days where it will be free for people to come out and practice. We are not totally sure where we are going to put the training park yet due to the fact that we want it in a location that it'll be accessible by all.

went to put ours up today and the snow is so dam low and cold that i gave up until next week. WE NEED SNOW!

They are callin for snow here this week/weekend. Lets all keep doin are snow dance and hope we pounded with snow like we have never seen before. Then we can all get things set-up.

Beacon checker at the renshaw collection shack is up and working. with any luck I will get the lucille one done tomorrow.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have all 3 shacks up on the hills, still working out a few minor details but be sure to check the shack for the collector, Also the Beacon Checker is set up for Lucille know as well as Renshaw. Remember you should alway have a beacon on!
