Anyone install one of these on there sleds?
How was it?
Any tips for install?
any cooling issues with the change?
strength still in the tunnel?
and was it worth it? can any one vouch if the newer style where the tunnel is cut down helps with the deep fluffy stuff?

Im looking at them and the instructions seem really straight foward .....I just want to up date the look of my machine and hopefully it will be a practical update aswell not just for looks

Kit sells for about 250

terra alps racing has a nice tunnel extension for the cats. Looks real clean and it just rivots on.

All you need to do is buy the back little piece, Flap, light, bumper, kick plates, from cat then cut your tunnel. The BDX isnt the greatest fitting conversion. I can order the parts if you need 1-780-464-7788

I agree with Tyler (Honda310R). If your going to do it, I would get the Cat parts and do it that way. You can get the rear tunnel kick up, bumper, heat exchanger, LED tail light, and new snowflap and all the rest of the little parts for under 650 bucks.

How have you recked and replaced them already??? do they bend like nothing or just dont fit right ....

I was goin to go cat but thats a bit more then i would like to spend and i was told that i would need to get the newer style of rear cooler as well.

im not 100% sure how they have wrecked, but they are not very strong, i came down on the tail and ripped the tunnel the first time, second time i was towing another sled and the bumper bent in half, Summitric and sledbunny racing saw the aftermath, also bigdwg, bdf#900, powederpuff also, the tunnel after is has been cut is not strong enough to support any real weight or stress,

you dont need the new cooler i have heard of guys using the old one they move it forward a bit and then flatten it a bit just dont crack it.

The BDX is very poorly finished at the back and the bumper is not comfy to grab.

you can get the parts from myself or FF as we both work for cat dealers.
