Wow...... and I'm here b!tching about the amount of rain Cowtown is getting, which is absolutely phuck all compared to there!!!

yes it is, as well hwy1 is closed west of revy due to a mud slide last night and has not been opened yet. here is a link to drive BC with all roads that are closed

I just checked on a buddy of mine that has property in sicamous. He is still ok. I hope things work out for your family and friends.

Was pretty bad this time last year too, is it worse this year? Heading out there on Thurs. Is hwy 97 south closed?? I'm heading to the south end of Mara.

97 and 97b are open, just 97a closed, had barricade up junction of 97a & 97b

Hwy97a is closed at 6 mile Swansea point at hummingbird creek the opened up the road on either side of the culvert under the hwy. as well at 2mile where waterways is the bridge is closed there they were hit much harder so ther is no way to get to sicamous via hwy97a at all and they don't know when they will be able to. If you want to talk to me mp me your number and I can explain more.

Your the best I'm freeking out a little feeling helpless and just want to get there and be with them! My parents are my life so I'm waiting to hear from them tonight and decide if I'm closing up the shop here early to go help...I feel sick this is the 2nd time but our prayers worked and the house was not touched! We need the rains to stop and no hot weather so the snow can melt slowly lol

Yes as far as I know because my mom came from grinrod this morning. So you can only get as far hummingbird resort right now.

Holy crap PINKalicious. Not much a person can do from this neck of the woods but my thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and all those that are affected by the raging waters.
