I had a few calls and emails asking if I am still selling radios. Yes I am and I have lots in stock. If you are trying to find a website I don't have one, if you are on one it is another company's. The UV-82XR is exclusive to me. If you want to order send me an email in my sig below, in tapatalk just click on my pic.

Ray do you sell anything to cover the mic? Over the weekend a bunch of us with these radios had snow getting into the mic and freezing them up. After de-icing them they would work again but it was a total PIA.

I'm looking at trying to order the BaoFeng BF-F8HP (UV-5R 3rd Gen) 8-Watt Dual Band Two-Way Radio (136-174Mhz VHF & 400-520Mhz UHF) with full kit from Amazon but they won't ship to Ak. How do your radios compare to this particular model?

The UV-82 XR is Baofeng top of the line handheld. The speaker is 1 watt vs .7 for the BF-F8HP kind of important when you have your sled running.

Can you ship to Alaska and how much for 2 of those radios? Can my buddies with the BF-F8HP use the same program to program these raidos?

I got mine from Brian Cavanaugh off Facebook - I accidentally deleted all the channels and sent it back to him - gave me a fresh one for nothing - guy is a beauty - has the long antennas too - the good mic - all the channels programmed all for like $120

Sorry a little off topic. There are times when I try to program friends radios and I get a message in chirp regarding the radio firmware. Anyone know how to upgrade Baofeng radio firmware? Thanks.
