Poor guy first time to the mountains, just bought the sled with a clean check, first day and half way up the trail and this happens... pants got hot, looked down and saw his pant leg on fire, got off and put his leg fire out looked over at his sled engulfed in flames. tried to put it out but it wouldnt stop burning. it'll buff out i think. 3 feet of track still salvageable.

cat guy to the doo owner "hmm doos on fire and all the cats are fine"
doo owner "im still not buying a ****ing Cat"

Fuel line leaking apparently brake was not on. he was mad after, drank quite a few beers at the hotel. groomer wanted something like 2500 to haul it down. He called his insurance company and they sent people up to get it.

if mine ever starts on fire it will burn, wont eben think of stopping it, then your left with a possible repair job.

I don't know..... I think if mine caught fire, I would try to put it out. Even though I would do better with insurance, if I left her to burn.
Tough call, imo ???

3rd picture looks like the brake is on. What I don't get is the 3rd pic there is no fire and the sled is intact. with snow on it. the other pictures show it burnt up. something doesnt look right.
you are right, look at how much sled is left in a few pics, hood is still intact near the bumper then in the other pics it's totally burnt.....maybe someone decided to re-light it to finish it off? lol....

I have full coverage, if it is only half burnt then they try to repair it and think there heros then I am left with all the troubles. No chancy Mr Whalen she burns. Too many stories of guys getting the short end. I would rather take less money then have the headache.

If i had replacement ins i'd poor gas on it. I don't want a repaired nightmare, yuk!

I have full replacement ins on everything, that's why it would be a tough call. More than likely I would try to put it out, and once out I would go ahhhhhh CHIT!!!!!
Should have left her burn :(

Thats a good point too. But honestly it would be tough to watch her go up in smoke.
