Does running aviation fuel in a stock 2 stroke do any damage? I know the turbo guys and the done up sleds run it. Any advantages or disadvantages? I have always run 94 octane from chevron.
Why does it make less power?
Hmmm, no kidding? I thought it would have been the opposite.slower burn
Less octane you can get away with running the better off your gonna be
They do not. I run Shell 91 in all my toys.I guess I'll switch to shell 91 octane then from chevron 94. Does anyone know if shell has ethanol in their v-power fuel?

Good to know, thanks.
remember in bc. chevron 94 is the only fuel trucked in. all others come thru the pipe line. chevron 94 is way cleaner. get a clear container and check it out. reg fuel is almost yellow and lots of crap in it.
In our corner of BC all fuel is trucked in, no gasoline pipelines here. I burn Shell 91 colored, it is way cheaper if you have a barrel to store it in.remember in bc. chevron 94 is the only fuel trucked in. all others come thru the pipe line. chevron 94 is way cleaner. get a clear container and check it out. reg fuel is almost yellow and lots of crap in it.
