Something else to think about and maybe you don't care but Can Am from what I see has no EPS on their quads. I sure love when I'm in snow or go over big logs that the quad doesn't get pulled into the snow bank and the handle bars don't whack me in the ribs. I rode my quad for 11 hours a few weekends ago and the next day not a muscle in my body was sore. I think EPS is worth it IMO. Some I'm sure will say EPS is for wimps but maybe they have not had a chance to try it. :d
I myself havnt seen a single frame break on a can am and you probly havnt either. We have all heard about it on forums but it must take a lot of punishment prior to breaking. I just rode the walburg rally Saturday with over 670 registerd quads and majority were can am and never seen or heard of a hesme break there. If they are junk that would be the place to break it as the trail is extremely pounded out from that many machines.
Since this thread has nothing to do with brutes I will leave out how many of them I pulled to dry ground due to blown belts.
Maxwell buy a renegade and you will not be disapointed.
And trade that XP for a cat then you will have the best of the best lol.
Yes Can-Am's do have power steering.
Since you want (or need) to write it off for work....get an Outlander. Bigger fenders, comes with a winch and has racks....oh and it's just as fast as a Renny. For all the help you've provided around here with the sleds, I'm sure there's a few tips and tricks that can be reciprocated your way on the quads.
I used to get a new quad every year or every other year max. I'm going on to season 5 with my 07 Outlander with NO MAJOR PROBLEMS YET. Don't get the 500...it's good, but you will trade it the first time you ride with someone who has an 800. You want one. Trust me.
i have a 2008 800 outlander and i skid full sized poplars out of the bush with it. girlfriend has a renegade and her face got covered in mud the first time she took it out, it needs mud guards. racks are extra and a lot smaller
have not...but after being on the 500 that 800 is very tempting and scary at the same time.
Go for the 800 Youll Like it! :d
