Rode untracked 1-2 feet of powder at Renshaw all day Monday and Tuesday. Conditions were epic! Our faces are still hurting from the huge smiles and sun burns. Snow was mid winter dry and cold and certainly best so far this year. Parking is fine at 2km and trail is great for April with no bare patches showing yet.

Hey folks. Planning to come up with a few bikes Tuesday night. Is there still snow at the upper trailhead at Belle? Contemplating bringing a tracked argo and small trailer to access snow if needed as the bikes are horrible in the mud and gravel. Cheers.

Just talked to Hotrod, grooming will continue thru this week and next weekend and maybe beyond that! Some snow at Belle parking lot, but trailhead is good, Lucielle still leaving from lot, Renshaw at 2km past collection shack! Higgins.

Excellent will be there this Friday for a ride to Presbitarian and if the weather is good we will head east for the Alberta border and back also and try an old fashioned distance run of 200km.
Days are long enough.

Can you get a 4 place down to the 2 KM parking lot or park before that?

If interested in a tour of the far north end of Renshaw PM me.
Biginner/ intermediate ride......just long. Can keep it simple or make it stupid.

Only been back to Spirit once. One of these days I'd love to tag along on a trip to far north.

Rode Renshaw Friday. Trail icy and bare spots really starting to show.
Up top snow was very dense with a crust below the top.
Went to back side Presbetarian then Mt Pauline and back to Winebergers.
Best snow was at Presbitarian.
Forgot to track distance but was about a 180+km ride.
Was 49litres to fill sled and spare tanks.

Ws a good spring day ride. Very few riders on hill.
Go get some before gates close!
