Looks like I have an offer coming to go back up to Fort Mac. Do I really want to go? Nope but 10 days on and 10 days off beats my 10 and 4!

Most of the things I have heard about the camp at Kearl have not been good. Just looking to get some inside info on just how potentially bad it is.

wapasu is great if you dont mind feeling like your in jail... rooms are good. fair sized, cable tv(with movie chanels), internet (cord only no wifi)lcd tv with remote jack n jill rooms so you share a bathroom with one other person. flights are nice but the 75minute bus ride to camp from the airport sucks food is better then avarage bag up rooms(lunch) are hit or miss. cardio / gym / entertainment / ping pong / pool table rooms in each camp: main, east, west.
just do as your told and you wont have a problem. argue with the cop wanbes or camp staff and they make your life hell.

if youve never been on a site were they use cattle gates your in for a shock but you'll get over it quick.

its camp life it is what it is. fly up... deal with it...make lots of money...come home and enjoy it... repeat

Ahh, good old Wapatraz.
If gyms are your thing, it can be a pretty good gig. Get creative with the food, figure out the best times for work outs and a guy can come out if there in pretty good shape.
10 and 10 is a gravy shift. Work, eat , sleep repeat till "out" day.
Live it up on days off and just keep watching your bank balance grow.
Nobody has to work very hard there, the sun shines lots in winter and there is not to many biting bugs in summer.
