Just wondering if anyone tows their own sleeping quarters around in the winter for sledding, I use a sled deck so insulating a truck camper is out of the question, so thinking about maybe insulating a enclosed trailer?
I think you would be better getting a camper and using a trailer for the sleds. Easier to tow and you can get more places. Plus you would have to disconnect the trailer to unload and load the sleds. The heavier the tow vehicle vs the trailer the better in winter especially if you get winter studded tires.Just wondering if anyone tows their own sleeping quarters around in the winter for sledding, I use a sled deck so insulating a truck camper is out of the question, so thinking about maybe insulating a enclosed trailer?
Exactly, 3 guys sharing a hotel room makes the cost of a trailer look insane. For what it costs to share a room with a buddy, have shower access, hot tub food etc...I couldnt do winter camping. Need that hot tub after an awesome day sledding
