Should be 165 no matter what.

I know, that’s why it feels like it has more power. On the trail up it doesn’t feel like it does when you’re up at elevation and like you said I should have 165 24/7. Wouldn’t be the first time a factory under rated an engine for insurance purposes or emissions. Maybe it is 165 up there but to me it sure felt like it was making more power than on he way up the trail.

I wouldn't be surprised if BRP reduces boost until break in is over.

Actually bud, I have a 900hp Stage 3 whipple C63 that I built and daily drive all summer long. It’s also the fastest Mercedes in Canada and does a 10.2 at Castrol in a 4000lbs car.

Oh ya, not to mention the Star Racing SnS 126” I built that does 165rwhp SAE correction, that runs 10s with forward controls too.

I guess some of those TV remotes can get pretty confusing though.

Interesting, I had the fastest ZL1 Camaro at Castrol, 9.53, still have the record there, and in Canada, they kicked us off the track and want us to put in a roll cage, not going to happen in a street car.
And I just bought a new Skidoo turbo, have not bean to the mountains yet, I have had 3 other turbo sleds with high boost, not looking for high boost, I want no turbo lag and good throttle response with warranty

I was able to throw my leg over one of these this weekend multiple times two different days in different snow conditions and was able to jump from it straight onto an aftermarket kit. The 850 stock turbo works very well throttle response is the biggest deal it feels like a stock machine off the hop until you load it up and it rips. I did my best to try to heat up that belt good pull followed by long sidehills on off throttle in very heavy deep snow conditions in revelstoke there is no doubt it will still heat up if you try but they sure seem better than years prior. That belt is basically shrouded to hold the heat in from factory not sure why maybe to keep moisture away but punch a few vent holes would go a long way. Jumping over to an aftermarket kit you will notice throttle is not perfect but there is no doubt they will out pull them. The guy somehow managed to break his limiter adjustment in his garage messing with it that was to bad as it was on loose the whole weekend. Going between it and my cat was defiantly a transition doos work great in fresh snow but feels a little rodeoish crossing any tracks I’m sure different shocks would be something I might throw on especially a lockout in the rear skid.
