I've run boondocker turbos since Nov 2010 on 4 different Polaris sleds, I have run them at 6, 9, 12 and 15 lbs. I have never had a turbo related issue, never had to tinker with chit.... never pulled a side panel off for anything other than add oil or regular maintenance on belt etc.
Good luck boys with your new turboed doo, your going to love it!!!

They won't love it like we love our turbos. They are only 165 hp.

It’s still early. But if your going to do R&D for a company why not have it warrantied. If you by a bolt on kit trust me. Your doing the R&D work for that turbo company. They will always have an uphill battle. New sleds coming out every year. Progression is natural and good for the sport.

What kind of out the door price are you guys seeing with these sleds for anyone who’s bought one and where? I don’t own a skidoo and haven’t for years but they are going to sell a pile of these. Aftermarket turbos will always have there place guys will always want more and right now it defiantly makes more sense to run one financially up front. But from what I’ve seen you buy a $15,000 sled throw a $5000-7000 turbo on it put 2000km on it mixing race fuel and try to sell it and you will take a huge beating. An OEM designed sled with a turbo and warranties will hold a lot more value. I have to give doo huge props for being ahead of the game again. Anyone know if you could stuff a qsl lockout shock into a coil elimination kit on these.
There are a few different torsion spring delete kits available for the gen4 and tmotion lockouts - or kmod skid or redline skid

It will be interesting to see the value of these when they are off of warranty.

Ive never came across a aftermarket 2stroke turbo that doesnt loose some bottom end snappyness. (Im sure everyone heres turbo 2 strokes are snappy as fuk though:rolleyes:)

This one doesnt loose any bottom end. And that is important to some people....

Yeah, Depends on the kind of riding you do, If you just pull hills all day it wont matter.

In trees or creeks, it matters a lot more. This one doesnt lag, so that is a huge plus for me.

Thats the HP trade off of turbo size....use a small one that spools quick and it has limited elevation and pressure. Put a bigger one on and there is a little spool up time but no elevation ceiling. There is always a trade off somewhere.

The aftermarket kits are also evolving - force turbos is doing the electronic flapper valve in the exhaust to let out the low end exh pressure to have instant response and more hp than 165 which is by far superior - people say just wait they will turn up the boost on the stock system - who cares - u could be riding a boondocker or redline or force in the meantime - then get the stock Doo turbo in 2023 when it's finally cranking out the HP

True. For me snappyness is way more important than having 300hp. Ive rode those sleds, they are fun. I cant take them where I take my stock sled though.

So for me, this thing will be rad. i Wont be trying to drag race the freak though.

I’ve got a good buddy at kakwa today with the one of stojans demos. He will give an honest opinion. 100 km of trail and the snow is deep in there right now. A good mix for testing that sled.

They are going to have to evolve, or no one will buy one ever. I personally have 0 interest in ****ing around with a boondockers kit or some chit.

This one comes ready to ride, no ****ing around. I think most people will be in the same camp as me on this one.

Aerocharger makes a great turbo for 2 strokes but they are spendy. I almost bought a setup for my Porsche 930 slantnose. It made full boost at 2200 rpm. It would of turned that thing into a rocket.
