Anyone make a side by side comparison on the new sleds in the hills yet?

I climbed the same hill with a XM 154 and my PRO 163. XM felt more powerful but the marks on the snow were very close. Both sleds will get it done in the steep and deep. When you get stuck you got no one to blame but yourself.

One thing the guys have been saying is the Pro riders that have rode the XM are pleasantly surprised on how easy they are to manuever through the trees. I am looking forward to trying a Pro myself this winter to see what they are all about.

That's kinda funny, snopro, because I'm looking forward to riding an XM for a full day and just maybe, I may get the chance. One of my riding buds who has a Pro that'll be running a PA 910 this year, is also thinking of picking up an XM. I should be able to get some seat time on one of them (or both, preferably :) ). Gonna be a great season !

So Johnny, do you think the 163 XM would walk away from the the 163 Pro due to traction and floatation? as you compared the 154 to the 163 here. I know I bought the 163 Pro with the thought in my mind that it would be similar to a 154 Doo.

so hows that stock track teth-air? have you spent time on a sled with the new 2.5? does it hook like the camo extreme?

163" XM with a 230lb rider (my fat ass) vs a 155" Pro with a 160lb rider. XM was breaking trail all Sunday, the Pro tried to follow on one climb to a new area and got stuck.

The other 162" Pro was down with electrical issues all day.

Not much of a head-to-head comparison, but I'd rule the XM the winner for the day!

I had a problem with my sled so I rented a new 2013 Pro 163" from Mountain Magic and rode Revy (Frisby) last Thursday, Friday. Sweet snow and the sled ran flawless, super light, holds a line and keeps pulling. The running boards are near perfect! On Thursday I also had the oppurtunity to ride the 2013 XM 163" aswell. I'm not a Doo guy and fell like a fish out of water on the Rev's but man this sleds rocks! It doesn't want to fall back to flat like the older chassis, holds a line, pulls hard and is extremely smooth. I wouldn't hesitate pulling the trigger on either sled. I think this is the closest the big three have ever been to feeling the same "chassis wise"!

Ride Safe!!!

Already added all I want to, you personalized this, not me.

Give your head a shake.
Your the one that quoted him accusing him of trolling and causing controversy. YOU personalized it.
All he wants to know is the same thing ALOT of others want to know. How the heads up field test between a Doo and Poo of the same size turned out. Maybe for bragging rights but IMO moreso just to kill the curiousity.
What if a Cat guy or a newbie started this thread? Would you be accusing him of the same? Doubt it. Go back under your bridge.

I believe they are gonna be close. Real question is gonna be which has more problems and it will take a full season before we even get close to an answer for that. I like them both personally.

A little history here maybe Cuso will enlighten you, I was just copying, what he accused me of in another thread. He turned it personnel, calling me names, lots of snow here under the bridge.

I'd like to see a turbo vs turbo review too
Impossible unless you bolted turbo kits on stock sleds, which is also tough because stock skids can't take a good running turbo.

So if you have a turbo on your sled and a stock skid and you don't have a major catwalk issue, then.........
