Anyone make a side by side comparison on the new sleds in the hills yet?

Just wondering.

The snow was deep enough this past weekend, that I'm sure there was someone doing these 'unbiased' tests...

Same rider weight, flat out ripping side by side comparisons. sleds full of fuel, ready to go.

Any results?

I tried the new 13 pro and the new xm on the weekend. I didnt get to much time on either machine, but i did notice that the xm is easier to get on its side. They both are great machines and you cant go wrong with either one.

We are hearing good reports on the XM's. They are faster on the stubble than the Pro but that is to be expected with more hp. No reports of side by side hill climbing but I'm sure we will hear soon good or bad. Lol. One thing the guys have been saying is the Pro riders that have rode the XM are pleasantly surprised on how easy they are to manuever through the trees. I am looking forward to trying a Pro myself this winter to see what they are all about.

That is what I have been hearing.

When I get the Doc's clearance to go riding, I want to try the new pro too.

Is anybody else concerned about how razor sharp the running boards on the new pro's are? I'm wondering if they'll shred boots this year.

Ken are you allowed to be seen on a Pro or are you going to have to do it a dark moonless night? haha. You should get out with us and we can see if you like the Pro and I will definately take a spin on your XM.

I am able to discuss a subject without an ulterior motive. Do you have anything to add to this thread?

I am sorry you feel threatened that your choice of ride is being discussed in comparison.

Oh wait... IT ISN"T!!!!

I am in neutral ground here, so before you get your panties in a wad, step back go back and read this thread and count to 10.

Thanks for stopping by.....:rapture:

I have a New XM 163, and a new M8 Limited 153. With the snow conditions we had yesterday in Valemount, I will say this.... XM easier to maneuver all day, but only by a small margin. Transition from one to the other? well no wonder Ski Doo is suing cat lol. The 2.6 Cat track performs very well. Sleds are equal in ability to climb and seat of the pants, the M8 feels to have more power, but they are really close. I rode them both because I had a young buck ride one of them up for me instead of his own. I switched back and forth all day. When i got tired, it was back to the XM. Just easier........ability wise I will say Cat improved a ton over last year. We had a Pro RMK with us with a full Boost it kit, and well.......that sucker ran hard all day, kicked ass and took names. Boost it would be the only way to go in my books, that thing ran flawless all day.
