Around 8am my system dumped everything from both ends
Started with horrible gassy burps. I thought maybe a reaction to my new diabetes pills. (I take 13 pills a day. 5 different types). I called my doctors office. They wrote down what I told them and when my doctor was free he'd go over it.
I.was throwing up stomache bile and crapping out straight liquid.
Docs office called me back and told me to get to a hospital.
I was feeling funny. Like I do when my sugars are really high or low
But they weren't terrible when I checked.
8.2mmol when I woke. 8.7 when I was feeling sick
9.3 before coming to the hospital and 12.1 at the hospital. (NO food was eaten since 530 am)

My potassium levels are high and my white blood cell count is high. Those were the concerning ones
Or what it seemed. (I have the Alberta Health app. So was able to see my results there before the doc came in to discuss.)

Also something with my electrolights was off. (Probably from being dehydrated). Gave me some gross chewy viscous liquid.

Got a bag and a bit of saline to go. Feeling better but not 100%. At least the chills and sweats left
Not dizzy anymore but still feel I could puke if I tried.

Wife and kid ran out to get me a sandwich from Tim's
Nurse is curious if I'll be able to keep it in. As I couldn't with liquids early. One sip of water and I was throwing up. It sucked.

There is talk that if.im feeling better and cN keep food down
I can go home for the night. And return tomorrow for more blood work

Back at home.
Docs are chalking it up to food poisoning and an inflamed colon.

I've have food poisoning before. This doesn't feel like it. I'm still certain it's a reaction from the new pill.

Going to do some work on the Jeep Saturday. Lost my park brake today. Sounds like something broke in the center console.. being a manual I rely on the park brake a lot.

Hopefully catch ya on the next one.

Looks like it was a fun time. I got to get some mods for my jeep and get out more.
There's a Ghost Falls run March 23. Ghost is down by Cochrane.
Ghost is fairly easy even for stock rigs if you're interested

Ghost is open Dec 1 to March 31. For offroad vehicles
