Anybody still riding in May?

Had a great sled ride on Saturday in the West Kootenays. The mountain bikers looked puzzled as we drove past them at about the 5 km mark but we found snow near 7 km. The snow was still pretty good but now it's time to put the sled away and go boating. Anyone else riding still?

Rode on the 29th, haven't done my May ride yet but will get one. Looking at June and July rides with the current snowpack.

We are finally slowing down some on the amount we ride, but not done yet. Still a lot of snow up in the mountains to be ridden. Been the best year of riding ever in my life, by a huge margin.

d8Grandpa Where were you riding? Did you buy a bike aswell? Thought on a earlier thread you had a sled and borrowed your sons bike for rips sometimes.

Went out sledding on May 2nd...dirt biking on May 3...Mtn biking May 5.

I put the sled gear away yesterday and now It's time for me to water ski and Mtn bike.

Still good snow at elevation in most of the East Kootenay.

I ride mostly north of Revy. Those caribou are by Downie. I have both bike and sled. I like the bike for this time of year, gets around with less effort in the set up spring snow.

I remember when i was still in high school, may long weekend we went sledding, came down had a water ski and played 9 holes followed by an attempt for steelhead but none of us could walk by that point. Got up early the next morning snowmobiled in terrace in the morning and fishing all afternoon on the kalum. Good ol days

should of punched threw snow patches till full snow at the bridge. 8-9km ish.

still worth it tho.

it didn't last long. I can see Elkview mine from my house and the mine mountain had white on it when I woke up today
