Yeah magically removing 800$ from your wallet. Lol

I can see why they push it, tons of markup on it. So it's pure profit for brp.

I'd rather just spend 800 on a wrap, then I can pic what ever colors I want.

What are the primary differences between the Summit X and Summit Edge besides colour options and that the X can only be snowchecked? If you are not getting a turbo is the Edge basically the same as an X?

I can give you the list.......you won’t like the price and the labour to do it

Wouldn't be needing any labour costs, just parts cost breakdown. Wonder if it would be comparable to other aftermarket skid change outs.

Your logic just went out the window . Haha
The SHOT is over priced but it’s a great option and does something that is a benefit.
A wrap ? Does absolutely nothing and that’s okay to waste money on . Ha

Its cosmetic. I want the sled to look good. That's why I want the blue orange option, but don't want shot

Understand the logic? No? You like riding an ugly pos as long as you dont have to pull start? That's great bud

I would say grill your dealer on it vs taking the website as the only option, I recall a few years ago during spring check the website had a few bugs that when actually ordering from the dealer they could get what you wanted.

If they'd just sell the blue and orange option on the stripped down version of the X I wouldnt need a wrap.but they want to charge you 1800$ in other options to get that color over black.

If you like a black sled to match your black Klim gear that's nice. I want some color.

I'm looking forward to starting my sled with the push of a button. Especially after you're worked up from getting it unstuck or you are in a super awkward position. I know my shoulders are going to thank me for not having to pull a sled over 50 times in a day, energy conserved for actually riding IMO.

I posted it in another thread but since Dave is answering our questions, are the expert shocks Koshima coated this year or no? They appear to be the standard X package shock vs the anodized looking bodies of the previous experts. Its semantics and not a deal breaker for me however I'm curious.

Also can a guy move the linq brackets further back if needed? Or is the integrated tunnel/cooler group preventing new holes being drilled? The reason I ask is that on my BCA tunnel bag I had to have the tunnel mounts on my 2015 163 T3 moved about 1.5" back to clear the jerry can. This is going to be my first G4 so excuse my ignorance. Push come to shove, I'll buy a BRP bag versus drilling holes in my new sled. Just not a fan of the BRP made bags, the last one I had blew apart fairly easily. Hence why I picked up the BCA

I can’t get it for you if you’re serious

I'm not too serious at the moment. Once people start looking at the pps2 ds skid, and get a chance to try it out, it could be an option for those that aren't a fan of the t-motion or doo skid but love everything else without going aftermarket.

no kashima coating, and yes you can drill, but you have to drill where the cooler is not, along the sides is fine, turn the stackable gerry around and it allows more room, if you look at it the base plate on the can is offset, if using the tool box then you cant do this, i dont like the tool box or anything behind the seat as it prevents your feet from sliding over the sled easily. cheers dave
