both my ramps are done with them because i like the traction but to do my 30 foot enclosed im looking at a solid 700$.

i really dont care about the traction on the floor part as i have a good grit coating and its used for sleds only.

Maxwell I know that $700 is alot of coin but those old truck bed liners with snow on them are suicide. One slip and a cracked head on a snowmobile bumper would not be worth saving the money! Just a thought

uhm maybe don't walk on them or be careful on them..8' wide trailer, 6'' wide strip on outer walls , 12-16'' wide strip in middle still leaves lots of room to walk on floor , go with the box liner it is free or next to free..i have it on my ramp and sleds slide up it like a finger in a bum...........and when i walk up my ramp i don't walk on glides i walk up the middle of ramp

the bedliners work awesome if u modif them just a little bit other wise ull slip like firfly says


best is to but them on and than take a angle grinder and go oposite direction of the channels about every 3inches and cut a little bit into the liner this way you create a saw effect which will allow for some grip for ure feet

use a truck bed liner.... i used the bed liner for my ramp, found one for free on kijiji. Get a set of electric snippers, take yea 15min to cut up that bed liner the way you want. Full size box you can get 4 strip out of it.

Personnaly i think they are more durable because it does not allow the carbide to bit into the glade itself but hover it and track the skies.

What did you end up getting for a trailer? Where'd you get it?

ended up getting a LIGHTLY used 30ft HH. it was a steal of a deal and i did want to buy new aluminum but i just couldnt squeeze it into the budget.

got 4 174 sleds in it with plenty of room to spare.

had it on the scales at 3600lbs so its not even all that heavy.

ill probly make a thread in the future of our mods to it because it will be getting an overhaul on the inside.

i picked this one because it had the seamless panels unlike all the other ones in our price range and finding a 30ft also in our price range was also a challenge.

it only goes from the house to the hill on the weekends so less than 50k towing which is why i wasnt concerned with getting a box over.

i was in princess auto a while ago and they make a "rip off" of super glides that comes in a 20ft roll and it is the same idea a super glides with the raised plastic ribs for the skags to go down but they just didnt have the "rough" feel on top for traction. But for a trailer they would work awesome and were at least half the price of a box of super glides that would cover 20ft.

ya....the grip is important i was pulling a sled by hand out of the trailer because it was slipping on the ice and BAM on my ass

Yeah, I completely agree about the aluminum.
Would be nice, but the weight savings vs $$$ isn’t all that convincing.
Plus if you do a good job of washing that unit it will last you forever.

Princess Auto is one of our great accounts, the glides you are taking about are not anything Like Superglides and they are not a rip off of our product. Those glides are the glides of Yesterday. They come 2 strips 10 feet long but only 6" wide and no traction on the top for your Safety. Superglides are 8.5" wide x 30" long and you get 20 feet with special hardware, venting on the bottom and Traction on the top for your Safety. Completely different product and different price point.
