Trying to transfer tracks and waypoints from my Rino 650 to my Montana 650. Using basecamp and birdseye imagery. The waypoints will transfer but the tracks will not.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Wow loved the Rhino for ease of use with the computer but the Montana not so good
The Rhino saves tracks as a GBD file and can be seen easily by the computer - uploaded and downloaded using Mapsource
But the Montana is missing tracks ...

Not an easy transition from a computer point of view from the Rhino to Montana

Vilna, AB,
I was wondering about Base Camp. I have been telling mapsource to view my tracks on Google Earth. Is there any benefit to using BaseCamp?

I think the "Base Camp" GPX was implimented for the Geo Caches, so they can see them all on the same computer screen?? Just my 2 cents worth. I just find the MapSource, GDB files so easy to use compaired to the Base Camp GPX files, but I gess that when you have somthing for a long time that works, it needs to be changed. Garmin had a GPS navigation software program called 'nRoute' that they discontinued about the same time the Base Camp came out. The Help system had 122 pages. It had the Garmin GPS technology to integrate with a loptop or portable computer to provide one with navigational guidance.
