How was the Crown Paradise in PV? The wife and kids and I are going to the one in Cancun in April.

It was good. The food was ok, nothing that makes you say WOW, but none of us went hungry. The booze was plentiful, and the employees there were top notch. We only spent a few days hanging out at the resort, but there was lots for the kids to do. I would recommend it for sure.

What about los cabo? Looks like I can get a pretty sweet deal on a real nice place there.

To bad Cuba is out. It's one of those place you have to experience once in your life time. The wife and I were gone for 8 days and had a blast with our first trip to Veradero

Just got back from the Riu Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta, well it's actually in Nuevo Vallarta. Was awesome, all the staff were super friendly, place was spotlessly clean, food in the buffets was very good and the food at the a' la cartes was extremely good! Short taxi ride into Bucerias for a more authentic Mexican feel or a bit longer ride into Puerto Vallarta for a gorgeous walk along the boardwalk. Felt very safe and nearly everyone we met spoke very good english. The resort is in a gated community with a golf course nearby and tons of activities. I would definitely stay there again but will probably try the Caribbean side first.

We went to the grand Bahia in montego bay Jamaica last may and it was awesome. There's no language barrier there which was nice. Private beach with a really nice cove that was awesome for snorkeling. Food was great. Would definetly go back.

Ditto on Riu Jalisco in Puerto we actually walked to Bucerias down the Beach and witnessed a sea turtle laying it's eggs. Never felt unsafe there, and food was awsome.
