All Inclusive

Anyone been to an all inclusive lately that they would recommend? Thinking around early April. Cuba is out and I don't really think I want to go to Mexico. Was thinking Dominican Republic or like the bahamas. There seems to be a ton of spots out there though and they all have good and bad reviews.

Looking to get an opinion of someone I can trust aka a fellow sledder!

I know you said Mexico was out, but we love Peurto Vallarta. Have never felt unsafe there.

For peace and quite, Palladium. It's out of town on the North West corner of the bay. Great surf beach.
In the city, there's lots of choices. Last trip we stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort. It was good for the price.

Yep, same here. We spent a week in PV last month...it was excellent. We rode the city buses, walked around town at night...all with the kids...I felt a lot safer than I would in Red Deer or Edmonton. We stayed at the Crown Paradise. It's right beside the marina, and is great for the kids.

Gran Bahia in Punta Cana was very nice a few years ago. Stayed in the adults only side... was very good. Far nicer than where we've been in Mexico in my opinion.

We have stayed at the Gran Bahia Rio San Juan for our last two Dominican trips. The one downfall to this place is it is an hour + away from the airport. But lots of local stuff to do. We went back the second time because we felt extremely safe with letting the kids wonder. Thinking of going again next year and will consider the same resort.

How was the Crown Paradise in PV? The wife and kids and I are going to the one in Cancun in April.

We went to the grand Bahia in montego bay Jamaica last may and it was awesome. There's no language barrier there which was nice. Private beach with a really nice cove that was awesome for snorkeling. Food was great. Would definetly go back.

Looking to go somewhere early April and hoping to combine all-inclusive with some surf

Headed to this place in Playa Del Carmen mid March Aventura Spa Palace - Palace Resorts' Adults-Only Resort Sure looks nice. Less then 3k for both of us including all fees and taxes plus you get a $1500 resort credit to use for golf, day trips, spa for the wife, scuba diving, etc. 5 Star and adults only (topless sunbathing permitted)

The RIU palace in Los Cabos is fantastic and Cabo is a lot of fun. You will get SUN there !!!!

I love the full bottles of hard booze inthe rooms too.
