Wow, glad I'm not filling your boat up.

I am taking fuel donations lol

Wow that's a lot! How long will that last?

I have no Idea yet, I only have 1.5hrs on it.....I doubt I will ever have it full of fuel unless I am going on a long trip, no point in packing all that weight

Small boat like Clodes with 350 engine and Hamilton pump with 3.4 impeller at 3100 rpm should only be burning around the 8 gph .
Plus or minus a bit.
They are very good on fuel with this set up.
That's a lot of fuel for such a small boat but like you said? Only fill right up for long trips.
My 24 ft , 7 ft wide only holds 118 gallons.
Very nice boat Sir!!!!

Smart move on the large tank Clode, i have only a 55gal tank in mine and wish i would had gone with an 80gal. one as it was an option when it was built. I kick my self for not doing so now.
If i'm nice and its just wife and it will run 8gal/hr but its better safe then sorry. i alway calculate 10gal/hr for trips then i'm safe. 5hr round trip is max for me, unless i carry extra fuel. On the ocean your fuel milage is much better, mine as little as 6gal/hr. On a lake or a river is worst on consumption. When i go sturgeon fishing on the fraser my consumption is as much as 14gal/hr.

mine has a 2.4 in the pump, and my boat has a bow tank and a large one under the bench, it liked about 3200rpm going upstream on the Nechako and was 4200rpm wide open....we only had 3 people on board and around 100litres of fuel.....the boat is on the heavy side but I wanted a tough boat, in the future I may remove the full teflon and only run a keel strip, that would save 3-400 pounds

I am also looking at aluminum heads, and exhaust manifolds or water jacketed headers.....heads and manifolds would drop another 150lbs.....and I see a 383 in a couple of years also......lol

They might be expensive but they are so much fun! And with a sweet boat like Clodes they places you can go and things you will see are priceless!
