I had to pay 6g a year at one point for the green truck. Now were at 1500.

insurance on our fleet is a big bill though....
1500 a year is reasonable for a vehicle. Responsible clean license must be helping you. I have a clean license, which is amazing concerning the way I ride my Harley all summer lol I definitely don’t want to get excessive speeding ticket or I would have unaffordable insurance for years to come

Ys same thing with sports cars. Get having a little too much fun some times could lead to no driving and a court date. Lol

I pay about $1500/ year for my new 2024 Ford Super Duty that retailed at $120,000 and my 32 yr old daughter is paying $2058/ yr for her 2015 Durango with 200,000 kms on it. She has never had an accident or a ticket. I have had 3 speeding tickets in my life for reference. Why is she paying so much for a piece of chit wore out SUV and I’m driving a truck with a $15,000 tailgate on it and pay less?

2500’s and 3500’s fall into a work type vehicle category and are cheaper to insure. When I bought my 2018 3500 Cummins limited the sticker was $94k, the wife’s 2016 Chrysler 200c was a sticker of $40k. My truck was $500 a year cheaper to insure than her car. I had tickets and she’s has never had a speeding ticket. Go figure lol

Yeah my 2010 Shelby is about $1200/ yr for a full year. What’s safer? lol.

Your Shelby probably gets the cheaper plan due to it’s not a daily driver and gets the minimum km usage plan. Insurance is quite the racket, my dad pays less insurance on his hellcat and his new stingray vette than he pays on his dodge half ton lol

$1040 a year to insure a pair of 2015 skidoo 174 T3s. Is this in line with what other riders pay? Seems unreasonable for a couple of machines worth only $6000 each. Deleting collision coverage doesn’t save much. They’re hardly a target for thieves anymore. Frustrating. I took them to the mountains twice last year.
Join the Alberta Snowmobile Association for $100 then call Drayden Insurance, go on the group policy, this is separate from your vehicle policy and having a claim there wont affect your other vehicles.

I tried that with drayden, cost me $100 for nothing, was cheaper to insure without it for me at peace hills through broker link than drayden with the association discount. Sucked cause I don’t ride trails in Alberta ever and I was out $100 lol

They quoted me $540 , peace hills was $490 for my turbo alpha. And the $540 quote was after their initial quote of $700 and change that I said get bent on lol

your daughter lives right in Calgary right? and you're out on the farm? that also makes a big difference, when we moved out of Spruce Grove to the acreage our vehicle insurance dropped

That may be a possibility Tyler. She is going to talk to a rep at AMA to get them to explain why hers is so high
