air bags on lifted truck

Might be a repost but I'm looking for some info on what to run for airbags on a lifted truck. I'm running a 2012 ram 2500 with a 3" carli lift. I'm pretty sure it was only lifted an inch in the rear though. I'm running a sled deck and with two sleds on it, it well definitely have too much sag. So, what are my options for bags? Will I have to run a spacer or can I get away without doing it since it was only lifted an inch in the rear. Carli makes long travel bags but they want a grand for the set up. As much as I didn't mind forking out the cash for there top of the line lift, a grand is a little excessive for bags.

mines 7" lift so i had to make spacer, if only an inch u can run them with air in to compensate the inch but it'll be rougher ride and just be careful they dont empty so u dont stretch the bag

They make 1,2 and 3 inch spacers for the firestone bags.
Put the biggest bags they make in . The ones for a fifth wheel are bigger for the GM and go in place of bump stops..
Not sure if the same for Ram.
The bigger you go the less air pressure required.

Do the firestone ride rite and put compressor kit in as well, then you will find the perfect ride quality cause its easy to adjust air pressure while driving! Instead of getting out in the cold with a air pressure gauge checking each bag.

I have a '11 f-350, with a 4.5" bds lift. Same issue, it siat dead level with nothing in the back. I installed firestone bags. Not sure about the carli kit's for the ram, but an issue I had with mine is the bottom plate for the bag attaches to the bump stop purch on the lift block.

The new block that came with the BDS kit though is a different shape then the factory one. It doesn't sit real nice on there, and I need to run a little more air then I'd like, but so far it's all holding together. Surprising enough, the ride isn't much, if any worse, but the 350's aren't known for there... pillow like ride anyway

Hindsight, I'd either not have done the lift, or modified the bottom holder for the bag. Sure looks good though

Should be a spacer in the firestone airbag kit....fits up to 3" lift, i believe

go to NAPA and put the air bags from a semi truck in. My buddy has a dodge with a 6" lift and installed these bags for his welding truck. They work and look awesome .... Think he paid around $300 for both bags

Check out Timbrens. They work really well. I use them with my 6" Carli and deck
