I went back to the solid post with a four inch block riser+a two inch pivot adapter with rsi bars... the bars are stright across but its still about 1.5 inches higher then the telescoping fully extended.

Black Diamond has a replacement telescoping post. Its alot sturdier and tighter. Echo has a couple of aftermarket bars on display sleds, mostly RSI, they seem closest to stock in feel.

Went with Yamaha factory Pro Tapers on mine. Minus the hand warmers and having to lengthen the break and wiring harness things fit like a charm.
