We sell both, however, found that the boyesen is the better product! While Boyesen is a bit more expensive, it will cost as much as the difference for the VForce reeds to be installed, as it takes some mods to install the Vforce, where as the Boyesen cage is a much simpler. The longevity of the Boyesen product is better as well, I haven't seen any come back with broken cages or petals! =)

Hey Ally, you must be pissed at me. HMMMMMMMM

NO! Just haven't found any vents yet... more like haven't had a chance to look... lol And the shot recipe you gave me is in my memory bank, didn't have a chance to bust it out this year!

I guess I should stop S&Ming in bed (eventually I stop making sense) and could have mentioned that! Both work really well, it's just what you prefer... With the VForce, you have to modify your reed stoppers, with the Boyesen Rage Cage, you do not. The cage on the VForce is made of a plastic, the Rage Cage is aluminum. The VForce are about $315, Boyesen are about $415.
Now, from a dealer perspective, I haven't sold any parts for a Rage Cage yet. I have, however, sold bits and pieces from the VForce - mostly petals but a few cages too. The install of the VForce takes about an hour longer, which makes up for the difference in price - if you are paying someone to do it. If you are doing it yourself, the Boyesen product would be the way to go as it is less work to install.

boysen valves are all aluminum and have gaskets for sealing, eliminating rubber delamination. boysen claims 4 + hp and says you will have to rejet, which means you should make power. had v force on a rev, found petals chipping, hard to replace air box, slight power increase maybe due to wizzy reeds not sure. have not v force on xp so this is a limited opinion
as i will be installing boysen reeds on 08 xp this week.

oh forgot maybe check pricing as i only paid $285.00 in ab.

I have installed the Boyeson Reeds on my 09 1000 crossfire and from a friend of mine riding his 09 renegade with a 1 3/4 track said it is a totally different machine and I agree. The throttle response is right now and speed pickup is great. On 6 inches of powder we raced beat him hands down and showed him my gps speed across the lake was 87.9 miles per hour. We were both very impressed.
