If native leaders initiate further blockades, especially ones that disrupt the commercial lifeblood of our country, the federal government will have to insist the RCMP and other police forces in Canada begin doing their job. Idle No More could take on a completely new meaning.

It's easier to finger point and not believe the truth... I mean who wants to attack their own nowdays.... So instead ignore the facts ( because whitey will twist them with his racist lies anyway) and simply blame someone else. Realistically this roadblock garbage is just that... garbage put on by small groups using any excuse they can to be a disruption. I mean the one on the QE2 was a joke put on by a band with no reserve. Then when a guy protested their protest they come by and tell him to leave because it's "their land" and suddenly him holding a sign is "not being peaceful".... All the while they do their best to stop traffic on the road and not allow them through..... Right guys.

Whatever though. In the end the government will just bend over backwards some more and give them even more money so the "chiefs" can waste it.

These First Nations people on the protest are so sadly manipulated. Very disappointing how they want the right to be heard but they have nothing to say. They are only making it harder for the hard working to have any empathy for them. If I was a First Nations I would be so embarrassed. I am sorry for those First Nations people that are painted with the same brush as the naive ones on the protest. This is only going to make life harder for them to be respected. So sad. I can't even imagine how hard it will be for those of you that left the life of the reserve because you believed that there was more to life than being a burden. The racism is only going to get worse for you guys now. How ashamed and embarrassed that you must be. It would be hard to respect yourself as a First Nations if you had to look up to those protestors as leaders and try to identify yourself with them.

Had a beer the other day with a native friend of mine and his mother came over and the subject about the roadblocks came up. Lets just say her trucker mouth was going full tilt. At the time she was pissed of to be called native and said all of these young chiefs should go get a real job instead of disgracing the indian name.Shes old school with a good education that she payed for with her own money with no help from anyone and all of her kids are doing just fine without help from the reserve. The baby of her family is in his 50's so this lady is no kid and she said the best thing natives can do is learn to support yourself like alot of natives do and theirs just a small group that keeps on looking for a free handout and it makes the rest of the natives look bad. This is the same as in quebec theirs a small group who steers the pot and it makes the rest look the same so the native peaple should look at quebec and see what they have now. Their voice in the goverment is basically gone because peaple have heard their bitching for 2 long and now the block got voted out because the peaple of that province had heard enough so keep it up and u will turn out the same.

Ya I do have a learning disability thanks to the group of racist natives that put me in the hospital when I was 9 cuz I was white! And the best part they got off Scott free cuz of race! I lost 2bikes cuz natives stole them when I was a kid ( cops found them on a rez) and now I am a contractor that employs natives from time to time and only loose tools when they quit\ stop showing up! Font even have the balls to quit! Then 5 weeks later I get a call from a P.O. where is he ?
