I'd pin my truck and get the twin turbos whistling, and then do a nice crisp brake check.

:rollinglaugh: TOO FUNNY!!!!!!!

I have come to the conclusion that you are a proud working canadian who happens to proudly carry on strong first nations blood lines... I respect that. But I don't believe that you as a canadian should have more rights than I as a Canadian, or that your children have more rights than my children.... if one of your children married native and the other married out of race do you believe that your grandchildren from one child deserve more rights than thier cousins?????

I am canadian you are canadian.... you are a proud native canadian, I am a mix of French Canadian, Scotish Canadian English & Irish a mut but mostly a Maritimer, now Albertan. My family has resided in Canada since the mid 1800's and fought in every war as possibly yours have as well...I just don't get what makes you better than me....

As a native i do not believe in the blockades. All it does is piss a lot of people off. But on the other hand it is way better then violence. Take the student protests in Quebec or Occupy as an example. Or for the poor Canuck fans the riots after the cup. And as for dismantling the treaties see the pic below lol

Yes we are both Canadian and i am not better then you i see us as equals. Here is a shocker yes i am treaty indian but my mom is white as casper the ghost. She is of scottish heritage as is the rest of my family from her side. Why do i associate myself with my native side more. That is culmination of growing up and listening to all the stereotypes of natives. I am proud of my native heritage and everyone should be proud of their heritage regardless of where they are from. And yes i support idle no more not because of Chief fill her pockets with our money but because of the way Harper passed bill C-45 and fed up with all the stereotypes. I work, pay my taxes and dont drink. So why do i have to listen to all the indian jokes.

A guy on the radio today said these chiefs are responsible for 600- 1500 people on these reserves. He said they are basically in the same category as a mayor of a small town yet they act like they are head of states. Wont talk to the local MP or MLA, premier or Prime Minister even. Gotta talk to the Queens representative, the Governor General of Canada. Jesus........... Ya and they probably wouldn't talk to him either.

there are jokes about every race of people on the planet. if you can't laugh at them then you have an attitude problem. it's the way it is delivered that determines whether it's humor or racism. some people take it well, others not so much.

I respect you Mx. You have a good head on your shoulders. You need to spread the word to your peeps and explain to the ones that don't pull there weight it is time they looked in the mirror and helped to make this country move ahead instead of dragging it down. Just my opinion....

Yes i understand its in the way its delivered. And have had good laughs over them but far to often it was said in a way to offend.

Bring on more road blocks I'm all for it, will make the minority who still support this bs to get fed up as well. I did get a kick out of the protesters clothing too, best dressed bunch of poor underfunded mistreated people I've ever seen.

You know, I am kinda thinking on the same ideas as LennyR. ( I know..don't start LOL)

Seriously...Hypothetically speaking, If we, as in me and 20 others, stood out in front of the River Cree Resort and Casino entrance and did a peaceful blockade, I am wondering if we would be asked to move, or arrested.

It appears I can jaywalk across whyte ave. and get a ticket, but if I stand in the middle of it, stoppping traffic, with a sign protesting that I am paying too many taxes, I'm ok? and the more the merrier?

I am wondering if this would work....
