Sorry I didn't know it was a huge secret. When you post pictures showing the cut blocks above Hospital Creek with the Ski Hill in the background you're not exactly doing a lot to keep it under wraps. Any monkey with google earth can log on and follow the drainages.

Oh ps that's what they did,, googled earthed, followed drainages and took two weeks to build the trail in so they'd have a fun place to snow board..... Most people cant be bothered to spend that kinda effort to get into some where and I was just trying to respect that effort. I fawked that up I guess.....

I wouldn't stress about it Dan, its the problem with the internet and all the information out there now. People have been riding this area for years, maybe even me and a few other forum members...LOL ....its not untouched virgin terrain, sorry....there was even a thread on here about 4 yrs ago with almost identical pics.

Ouch guess I hurted your feelers so bad you had to resort to name calling. Truly sorry I was just pointing out the obvious it's not exactly a secret. Glenogle was listed on the Snowmobile Club's website for years as a riding area!

As Modman mentioned I would highly doubt there is any virgin territory within 20 miles of town that isn't park (even then I'm sure it's seen a track or two in it's day).

Good on Shadam and his crew for putting the trail in as you are correct it is a lot of work to get a trail in on a haggard old logging road and up through the trees (or creek) into the alpine. But to think they are the only users is naive.

Sorry about the name calling, un called for I apologise . Sure people have rode there in the past. No one else this season has used it and definatly nobody would be using it if they didn't build the trail in. I was just trying to post some pics, not give away there stash spot.....

I got another drainage I want to open up. logging road goes upto 1700m so thats close enough for me. the creek doesn't have trees so travel should be easier than bush-wacking. about 17km from truck then maybe 5km up to the switch back creek crossing then the fun starts ...
I was thinking an afternoon mission for a few hours back about dark.
just need a few more crazies on good sleds, as it sucks to get unstuck in creek by myslef.

I bet I know where this one is as your description is very similar to one we tried 2 yrs ago, and it was blocked last year by huge avy debris at the very bottom. PM me if you want to compare notes.

Ah dont worry about Chris. He has ridden all the areas.
He was just stating a point. If you post it, some has probably been there also.
Kinda like the the avalanche pictures from differnt years that looked all most identical (Kinda bizzare).
Not much on the D-Low when tah ride.
It is more like.....DO WE HAVE THE BALLS OR TIME OR TRY AND GET IN THERE!!!!!!!!!!!
Kinda like going the back way into Turtle.....
Conditions are perfect right now for doing this, snow is set.
Now that you have been there, would you try it with a bottomless base in deep pow?
