Well after dealing with Pieps im am happy to say Im now running a BCA Tracker 2!! lol Heres my review on the Pieps DSP sport, It is flashy looking with its cheap see threw green plastic and its LCD screen "looks" cool, but breaks VERY easily from my experience. The sliding lock mechanism is pretty weak and I had it slide into the off postion a couple times during its 2weeks of service. It is a bit cheaper, it cost me only 250$, but that was only 2weeks ago. And they cant fix it, even if I pay(which I would have) and couldn't sell me a replacement and wouldnt give me any kind of deal on the DSP pro(which they did have), which is just the same cheap beacon with a couple more features. I say leave the pieps for the euro skier crew, if you're a sledder look at something else. The BCA tracker 2 is built far more durable, easyier to use also. Far better piece of equipment IMO for sledding. I expect it to last me many years. People may talk chit about the old SOS beacons,, but mine is 20 years old and still works,, which is more than I can say about my Pieps.

Well we made it back to Sugar Bowl. Nobody back that far. Thank god for GPS as the fog came in and she was pretty dicey getting out.
