Thanks for giving us the tour today, Dan.
Here's how those poor A-arms ended up folded back.

Snowing in Revy right now lightly. Hopefully we get a good dump!

But there is some serious hoar frost, so we'll have to watch for that.

The 19/51 combo they ran from 2012 onward with the 2.5" track was a little low. They brought it up to 21/51 and remains that way with the 3". I think the 20 would be the ticket in the t3 163. The 19 is going to maybe rev out a little quick, maybe not too noticeable though.

With the amount of miles you put on in a season you could likely even throw in a new primary sprig mid season to gain back some lost rpms. The stock springs are a little light on the finish rate. A little higher may help.

Yeah forsure. I will be doing that when I rebuild the clutches at 3000km here in the near future:beer:

Hey Dan I was just looking on dootalk.... U might want to top 20 it, 2.69 ratio is high depending on what ur doing

All tree riding good, but u loose top speed and top track speed which sometimes is needed on a deep day... Anyways I've always went with 2.5 to 2.6 ratio, best of both worlds

Doo talk...do those guys know what hills are. He's not going to loose any trackspeed in a loaded climb because the clutches never even come close to fully shifting out anyways. Sure you will loose top end track speed on hardback

Haha,,, some times we have to do 30km each way just for access though. I might try the 20 tooth out when I do some clutch work here soon.

But for now shes working good. I get More track speed climbing then I had with the 21 tooth. Thats why I changed it:beer:

There were very few spelling mistakes in Tex's post and you're going to argue with him?

LOL Jeff AKA Tex is a good guy(maybe not the best at grammar, but I'm no English teacher) ,, but I do know a little about sledding and this gear is working just fine for the time being:beer:
