Q: Two snowboarders are in a car. Who’s driving?
A: The cops, of course.

Q: What’s the difference between a ski instructor and a bucket of chicken?
A: The bucket of chicken can feed a family of four.

Q: What does a snowboard have in common with a vacuum cleaner?
A: They’re both usually attached to dirtbags.

Q: How many ski instructors does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Two. One to screw the bulb in, the other to stand there saying, “Nice turn, Nice turn.”

Q: How many snowboarders does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: It’s unknown. Never been done.
Or, better yet.
A: Two. One to hold the bulb and one to smoke enough pot to make the room spin.

Q: What do skiers use for birth control?
A: Their personalities.

And, one more for the road:

This guy walks into a bar and says “Hey, you guys wanna hear a snowboarder joke?” The bartender says, “I’m a snowboarder, the guy on your right is a snowboarder, same with the guy on your left, and the guy behind you is a snowboarder.” So the guy says, “OK. I’ll tell it a little more slowly then…”

Hmmm, pretty funny how all you sledder types like to rag on skiers and boarders. The funny part is how most sledder types idolize the guys in the sled flicks like Rob Alford, Dan Treadway, Geoff Kyle, Jorli Ricker from Snowride, and Dave B from CFR to name a few. Guess what, these guys all come from a professional ski and snowboard background.

Pretty sad, how a couple of good "jokes", can piss people off and get defensive about plankers :rolling:

jokes???? have a read of the link below and then see if this type of joke is "good" or not. why is it cool to put down another user group? what makes you so "cool" that you can make "jokes" about what I and others like to do?

Relax..... you'll live longer.
I never said I was "cool" and I never said anything bad about your sport. Other than using the term "plankers" If you're too sensitive about a few "jokes" on a recreational motor sports website, maybe this isn't the site for you?

I am going to leave this thread alone after this post. I know that they are just jokes and yes they struck a nerve with me because there is steady bashing of skiers and boarders on here. I have been a 70-100 day/year snowboarder for 25 years now and have been doing the same thing sledding for the last 15, and yes I am one of those guys that has a board attached to my sled, and yes I ride my sled better than, and more often than most of you ever will. What gets me is, I read complaints about hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, etc being full in places like Revy because of skiers/boarders and how they don't spend any money like sledders, which is far from true, because the majority of ski families have $$$$$$$. It would be real easy to start the douchey snowmobiler joke thread ( I wonder what kind of response that would get?), but I don't need to go there. The real joke is on you guys as you wake up in "Anytown Alberta" with the exception of Bigfish who lives in Kitimat, Rad place to sled and board by the way, and I wake up in my beautiful mountain paradise with world class sledding five minutes from door and three days a week to ride my sled and board, now I ask you, who gets the last laugh? Only a few weeks now until I am riding, happy sledding and boarding folks.
